Methodist University Online Login Instructions
The login procedure requires you to know your Student ID, which is a 7-digit number you’ll find on the front of your Student ID card or in the e-mail registration confirmation sent to your MU e-mail account. Your Student ID is not your Social Security Number. The procedure to log in is as follows: 1. Go to www.mconline.methodist.edu using Internet Explorer (Some features of Blackboard may not work with Netscape and particularly the AOL browser). 2. Enter your username. The username is identical to your username for the MU E-mail system. If you do not know your e-mail login, send an e-mail to the with your name and student ID number. 3. Enter your password. This is by default set to lowercase "mu" plus the first six digits of your Student ID. Do not include the seventh digit. 4. You can change the default password to one that you choose. Select Personal Information, then Edit Personal Information on the following page, and select Change Password. You will be prompted to enter and verify your new password. Click Submit, then OK on the next two pages to return to the Welcome screen. Depending on the time of your registration, your
username may not yet be in the system. It may take up to 24 hours (not counting
Saturday and Sunday). The system administrator will receive periodic updates
throughout the drop/add period, and yours will likely be in the next update.
