The State of North Carolina
offers a variety of grants, scholarships and loans to North
Carolina students. Active-duty military stationed in North
Carolina and their dependents are considered North Carolina
residents. All available aid and the application process
is available on the website for the North Carolina State
Assistance Authority (NCSEAA) at www.cfnc.org.
- The North Carolina Legislative
Tuition Grant (NCLTG) is a non-need based grant
that does not require completion of the FAFSA.
- The North Carolina Contractual
Grant (NCCG) is a need-based scholarship. Award
amounts will vary.
- The
North Carolina Student Incentive Grant (NCSIG)
is a need-based grant awarded by the state to the neediest
students (Pell Grant eligible) who complete their FAFSA
before March 15th. Students must be enrolled full time
in either the day or evening program.
- The North Carolina Education
Lottery Scholarship is a need-based scholarship
awarded by the state to full-time students in either the
day or evening program. Award amounts will vary.
