Studying Abroad

Did you know that 80% of the Class of 2012 is interested in Studying Abroad?

Many of the students surveyed said that money/expenses "greatly affected" their desire and ability to go abroad and that they also worried about their sports participation and about graduating on time.

Does MU offer opportunities to study abroad?

Yes, you can study abroad and get credit for the course work in some classes. MU exchanges allow students to pay tuition and fees at MU and receive credit toward their degrees at MU (be sure to check with your individual academic advisor or the Study Abroad Office, Room 14 in Berns Student Center for details).

  • The Registrar will review the courses, in conjunction with the appropriate department head (ex. if the course is an English course, the Registrar would see the head of the English department) to determine course equivalency or transferability of courses.
  • Any course that is transferable will be given a grade of pass/fail.
