International Scholarships
Methodist University offers Presidential Scholarships to entering international
students who meet the criteria in the charts below. Renewal of these scholarships
is dependent on the student making satisfactory academic progress and cannot
extend beyond the eighth (8th) semester of college level work.

Submit a financial statement showing that at least half of this
required amount of $31,000.00 (U. S. Dollar or equivalent) is available.
If not in English, a translation must be provided. Letters from
banks which state that there are enough funds available, but do
not state an actual dollar amount, are not acceptable.
If all or part of a student's financial support is coming from
an American Citizen or a Permanent Resident Alien (Green card holder),
a U.S. Citizen & Immigration Services (USCIS) Form
I-134 (Affidavit of Support) must also be completed along with
a supporting letter or bank statement from a financial institution.
Letters from banks which state that there are enough funds available,
but which do not state an actual dollar amount, are not acceptable.
The I-134 form may be obtained from the International Student Services
Office or from the USCIS Web site.

Going
through the International Baccalaureate (IB) program puts you at
a great advantage with regard to admission here at Methodist University.
In recognition of the rigorous academic composition of this program,
Methodist University offers Presidential
Scholarships for entering IB graduates who meet the criteria
in the charts below.
