Methodist University Offers Military Appreciation Day

FAYETTEVILLE, NC—Methodist University’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will host a Military Appreciation Day on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007.

Persons currently in the U.S. military, military retirees, and all former military service members will be honored along with their families as VIP guests in appreciation for their military service. Attendees will receive free admission, drinks, and snacks. There will be interactive half-time games and a chance for the entire family to win prizes.

Methodist University men’s and women’s basketball will be playing Shenandoah in the Riddle Athletic Center. The Lady Monarchs will play at 2 p.m. and the men’s team will play at 4 p.m.
