Chi Delta Chi (ΧΔΧ)

Description: The Methodist University chapter of Chi Delta Chi affirms the mission statement of Methodist University. Chi Delta Chi is dedicated to supporting veterans and family members in their academic pursuits. We propose to advocate veteransi' issues and recognize outstanding achievement of veteransf and family members. We also encourage groups and individuals to promote veteransi achievements. Chi Delta Chi seeks to acknowledge those groups and individuals who support veterans issues.

Expectations and responsibilities of members are:

  1. Participate in community and academic programs and activities (on/off campus).
  2. Support and uphold veterans' issues.
  3. Be in good standing with the United States Armed Forces and the current academic institution.
  4. Honor Society:
    1. Completed 12 hours of undergraduate work of 9 hours of graduate work at current institution.
    2. Have a 3.0 OPA at the current academic institution or a 3.0 GPA overall.

Goals:

  1. Support and uphold veterans' issues.
  2. Aid veterans in their academic pursuit.
  3. Recognize outstanding achievement of veterans and their dependents.
  4. Encourage groups and individuals to promote veteransi' achievement.

Meetings: Bimonthly

Major Activities: To participate in community and academic programs and activities concerning veterans' issues. Required at least two major activities per year. Costs are covered by the club/organization.

Membership Costs: A lifetime membership fee of $35.00 for Honor Society Members only.
