CRIMP Group Exercise Descriptions and Schedule

Hatha Yoga - The yoga that we learn in this class is Hatha yoga.This yoga class is designed to improve the health, performance, and mental acuity of athletes or individuals interested in improving their level of fitness. Based on the ancient fitness science of Hatha yoga, it blends balance, strength, flexibility and power in fitness format. Hatha yoga reduces the risk of injury and augments recovery for alignments including stress, lower back pain, and any injury you can name of. So come try it out and enjoy different poses!!

Insanity - Insanity is a revolutionary cardio-based total-body conditioning program based on the principles of MAX Interval Training. Max Interval Training allows a person to beat the "stress adaptation response" which normally happens when your body gets used to exercising at one level of exertion. The result of this is halting your progress of your fitness improvement journey. By using MAX Interval Training, INSANITY pushes you to NEW training heights, resulting in more calories burned, faster results, and a more efficient metabolism. Insanity's interval training is the pinnacle of cardio training.

Jogging Group - The social aspect of running is one of the key reasons people start, and stick, with it. So we have created this group that meets twice a week focusing on running for any reason, weight loss, social outlet, preparation of a 5k/10k, or just for fun.

Pilates - A system of exercises, designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, and posture, and enhance mental awareness, with an emphasis on the core or "powerhouse" muscles.

Salsa - You will learn Salsa Merengue & Bachata in addition to learning turns. Come with a partner or come alone to learn the basic techniques of these dances. All skill levels are welcome!

Women on Weights - This class is designed for the women who is not familiar with the aspects of weight training or toning with weights. Class focuses on proper form, proper sets and reps, muscle anatomy, and nutrition for building muscle mass.

Zumba - Forget the workout, just lose yourself in the music and find yourself in shape at the original dance-fitness party. Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats.

Zumba Express - A shortened version of a Zumba class, for those who want to dance and get on with life.
