Entering his first season with the Monarchs, Favorite will be serving as the Corner Backs Coach and the defensive coordinator of Methodist’s junior varsity squad. Favorite began his coaching career in 2015 as a Defensive Backs Coach at his high school alma mater St. James High School in South Louisiana.

In three years at St. James High, Favorite helped lead his team to three consecutive playoffs appearance including a state championship appearance in his first season with the Wildcats. During his tenure, Favorite produced multiple All-District and All-Metro selections as well as four all-state selections and seven collegiate athletes.

He is a graduate of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a degree in professional studies with a double concentration in Sports Administration and Education. He lettered in football for three years at UMHB, where he finished with a record of 37-3 during his 3 seasons and was part of back-to-back National Quarterfinals appearances and a National Semi-Finals appearance in 2012.

Favorite signed to play Professional Indoor Football in 2014 with the Wichita Wild of Kansas and again with the Amarillo Venom of Texas in 2015 after graduating from UMHB.

Favorite is a native of Vacherie, Louisiana in St. James Parish where he also served as the youngest City Councilman in history in the state of Louisiana.
