Bio:

A Fayetteville native and U.S. Navy veteran, Jason Canady is a Graphic Designer and Photographer for the Methodist University Public Relations Department.  He graduated in 1993 from F.T.C.C. with an Associate in Graphic Design and has practiced Graphic Design over twenty years.

In 1996, he was requested back to F.T.C.C. to teach Production Printing to design students and in 2006 gave a speech to the graduating class of commercial artist.

Jason Canady’s journey through an award-winning career in Advertising and Design has led to work for clients such as jazz legend Ben Tucker, Dale Earnhardt Jr., city mayors, U.S. Senators, U.S. President George W. Bush and the NFL.

Jason Canady has worked at The Fayetteville Observer and The Savannah Morning News and in 2012 was named Artist of the Savannah Jazz Festival where his art represented the Festival.

A writer, as well as a fine artist, Jason Canady published Learning To Forgive, a book on the subject of forgiveness. His writings have been published by The Fayetteville Observer and Carolina Country magazine.

Art collectors worldwide have purchased his impressionistic to realistic art style works on canvas.

In 2013, his photography skills won a worldwide contest by Macanudo sending him and three of his invited guests on a weeklong all expenses paid VIP trip to The Masters in Augusta, G.A. one of his personal and professional favorite achievements.

Jason Canady still paints in his spare time and is currently working on his first novel.
