Bio:

Professor Dancy has written columns and feature articles in a variety of magazine publications, including RELEVANT, a progressive Christian platform for twenty- and thirty-somethings, and Cottages & Gardens, a luxury interior design publication.

She most recently served as a faculty speaker at community college and university conferences, including Achieving the Dream’s Annual Institute on Student Success, the 96th American Association of Community Colleges’ Annual Convention, and the Online Learning Consortium Innovate Conference. At these speaking engagements, Professor Dancy presented information on how to teach students the skill of resiliency in the classroom.

Outside of academia, she spends her time delving into anything fitness related, including playing USTA tennis matches, competing in local USAW-sanctioned weightlifting meets, and attending Crossfit competitions.
