Bio:

Rebecca King is a writing consultant at Methodist University where she graduated, magna cum laude, in 2012 with a B.A. in Writing. She teaches the Dirty Dozen workshops and is also a founder and facilitator of the Veterans Writing Collective. She moved to the Carolinas from Maine in 2007, where she owned and operated a restaurant for many years, sold real estate, and started a furniture repurposing business.  King continues to own her small business, Sage and Twine, and can often be found painting and working on furniture in her barn.  However, she is also a writer and is currently working on her first novel.
