Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Today, many organizations require a Master of Business Administration degree as a requirement for advancement. The Professional MBA Program at Methodist University provides a rigorous graduate program in business subjects for those who seek personal and professional satisfaction, wish to increase salary potential, and advance or change their careers. The MBA Program at Methodist University is flexible for busy adults, the cost is competitive, and the opportunity awaits.

The Professional MBA Program offers students a focus on Organizational Management and Leadership and blends online course work with two weekend on-campus class sessions per eight-week term allowing them to earn their graduate degree in 16 months. Classes begin each fall term and each spring term, and will be held at Reeves School of Business in Clark Hall at Methodist University, while additional instruction will be online.

The Professional MBA Program at Methodist University is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).

Program Description

The Professional MBA Program at Methodist University with a focus on Organizational Management & Leadership consists of 36 credit hours taken over 16 months. The 12 classes are held in Clark Hall at the Reeves School of Business at Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina, meeting two weekends per eight-week term (on a Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday.) Students will complete additional course work for each class online between on-campus weekends.  For more details, see MBA Curriculum below.


Notebook Computers

It is required that all students in The Professional MBA program have their own notebook computers with Wi-Fi capability. Computers may be used during weekend residency sessions, and students will be required to complete work online between sessions. Classroom facilities in Clark Hall in the Reeves School of Business at Methodist University currently have wireless capability.


Tuition & Fees

Effective Fall 2015, tuition will be $1,134 per course for twelve (12) courses for The Professional MBA program at Methodist University.

Tuition will be billed each semester by the Methodist University Business Office, and be due approximately four weeks prior to the beginning of each semester.

For students enrolled in the program in Fall 2015, these fees will be guaranteed through seven consecutive terms of the program. Expenses not covered include textbooks, a laptop computer (required), individual travel expenses, and personal expenditures during each on-campus session.

Please note that tuition and fees for students enrolling in Fall 2016 are subject to change/increase. 

NOTE: If accommodations are needed during an on-campus weekend, view area hotels.  Arrangements must be made by the student.


Financial Aid

To be considered for most Federal Direct Loans, applicants must first complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA form is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov after January 1 of each year. The Methodist University Title IV School Code is 002946.
