August 19-22, 2011
Orientation
promises to be a fun-filled, information-packed four days. Orientation
is the first step to ensuring a successful academic and social transition
to Methodist University. New students will have the opportunity
to move in to their residence hall, meet fellow classmates and meet
with their academic advisor for the first time. You must pay your
enrollment
deposit to participate in the orientation activities,
get a course schedule and get a housing assignment. Check-in and move-in is
scheduled for 8 am - 2:30 pm on Friday, August 19. All new residential
students (including residential transfer students) and commuting
freshman are expected to participate in all Orientation activities.
Parents are invited to participate in Orientation activities on
Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning. Housing will not be provided for Parents (click here for suggested hotels). Here
are just a few of the Orientation highlights!
