It was designed to help students succeed in their goals of business ownership and leadership, while enlightening them of the business resources and opportunities available in their community. Started in Fayetteville in 2000, this program's outreach has expanded to the six surrounding counties. Entrepreneurship Expo The Entrepreneurship Expo is an opportunity for marketing and entrepreneurship students to meet and network with various entrepreneurs. It is a collaborative effort between the MU Center for Entrepreneurship and the Cumberland County Schools Career and Technical Education Department. Companies and institutions such as Bank of America, Re/Max, The Logistics Company, Capital Bank, M. J. Soffe, Dupont, Riverside Mattress, and many others provide displays and exhibits for the expo. The Minor in Entrepreneurship In conjunction with the University, the CFE encourages student entrepreneurs
to take advantage of opportunities that the school offers to its students
like the minor in Entrepreneurship
which is designed for students who have the creativity and vision to
see tomorrow's needs today. Students in Entrepreneurship will hone their
creativity and gain the skills and abilities necessary to successfully
launch new initiatives.
