A successful undergraduate study experience depends not only on academic study or career preparation, but also on your engagement in the life on MU campus. We encourage you to participate in the activities and events organized by CS Club and other student organizations.

The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)

The Methodist University ACM Student Chapter was officially chartered by ACM's Chief Operating officer on November 12, 2012 with chapter group ID 103269. The ACM student chapter is a professional organization for students and faculty of the computing sciences as well as a service organization for the Computer Science area. It is one the two premier information technology organizations in the world. Its purpose is to promote education, research and computing information guidance in every form of technology in our society.

The Computer Science Club (CS Club)

The Methodist University Computer Science club was formed in 2012 by the Department of Computer Science. It is devoted to student success in the field of computer science. The purposes of CSC Club are to bring students with an interest in computers together to share knowledge and experiences about computer technology and to promote communication and collaboaration. By participating actively in the club's activities, students effectively collaborate with each other, ensuring their preparedness to face the real world beyond college education.

IEEE-CS

With nearly 100,000 members, the IEEE Computer Society is the world's leading organization of computer professionals. Founded in 1946, it is the largest of the 35 societies organized under the umbrella of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
