Works in Progress 2017
The MU Theatre Department opens 2017-2018 with Works in Progress 2017, featuring REZ DOGS: A DOG’S TOY by Johari Nuredeen-Lapointe and SUBCONSCIOUS THOUGHTS by Jamonte Williams. Both works were developed in last spring’s TCG Theatre and Veterans Institute playwriting workshop.
In REZ DOGS: A DOG’S TOY, Rosie and Minnie, two dogs living on a reservation in South Dakota, learn from each other, share their survival stories, and terrorize the local birds!
In SUBCONSCIOUS THOUGHTS, just before a car accident might kill him, Chauncey meets Addison, his not-so-angelic guardian, who shows him three times a potential soulmate has crossed his path. Will Chauncey get another chance?
