Program Overview

Engineering Students in the Computer LabThe SACSCOC-approved Engineering Program at Methodist University was developed during the 2015-2016 academic year and formally approved by the University in March 2016. We welcomed our first cohort Fall 2016 with an anticipated graduation date of May 2020.

Methodist University’s Engineering Program is “in-progress” for accreditation by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET), as it is not possible to obtain ABET accreditation prior to graduating a student from the program. We will begin the official application process in October 2018 and anticipate an on-site accreditation visit in the fall of 2020.
