Film, MAR ADENTRO, sponsored
by the Department of Modern Languages and Literature, and Departments
of Religion and Philosophy, Sociology and Psychology. (Controversial
subject matter) Pre-film and Post-film discussions by MU faculty.
Free and open to the public.
Sunday April 18, 2:30 p.m. Hensdale Chapel, first
installation ceremony of SIGMA DELTA PI, the Spanish Collegiate
Honor Society. Three students who have completed a number
of upper level Spanish courses, to include Literature and Culture
and Civilization with a B+ or higher, and who are also in the
top 30% of their respective class standing, will be inducted,
Wilson Cedeno, Francisca Frisone and Nicole Yard. Two Spanish
faculty, Rocio Ochiltree and Juan Bobadilla, who are not yet members
will be inducted as honorary members. This is a beautiful ceremony
following some Medieval rituals and worth seeing. In Spanish,
with English translations available. By invitation only.
