Doris Jackson Munoz has always had the passion to work hard and inspire. She is the Director of the Student Involvement Center at Methodist University. Her job consists of programming and planning events to entertain students, leading students through leadership development and overseeing the Greek Life Community and advising the Student Media Department. Her focus is on the social gains of the students. If it's social development or even giving a student an opportunity to make a new friend, Doris strives to make each event memorable. She was awarded the Outstanding Faculty/Staff Award in October 2011 by the Alumni Board at Methodist. Her staff has named her Staff Member of the Year in 2010 and 2011. Her student organization, SAC (Student Activities Committee), has been named in the top three in the nation the past three years by Campus Activities magazine.
Doris graduated from what was then Methodist College and is now Methodist University in May 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education. In May of 2009, she graduated with her Master's Degree in the Art of Teaching with a concentration in Physical Education from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She is a member of the local Fayetteville Rotary Club. In the spring of 2010, Doris was accepted to travel abroad with Rotary International as a part of a Group Study Exchange team which went to the West Indies for a month.
In her free time, Doris enjoys spending time at her home with her husband and two dogs, Wilson and Georgia. Robert Munoz, her husband, works at Camp Rockfish. They got married in May of 2012. She enjoys traveling, photography, quilting, and hanging out with her family and friends. When it comes time to plan the next party or event, everyone turns to Doris.
Boyd received her Bachelor of Arts degree in French from Central Connecticut
State University and worked as a Resident Director for two years prior to joining
the Methodist University Staff. Aimee is the Coordinator of University Apartments
and Student Activities. Through this position, she oversees all University apartments
and advises the Student Activities Committee at MU. Aimee enjoys helping students
to see the transferrable skills gained through campus leadership positions and
collaborating with her knowledgeable and talented coworkers on projects and
events designated to improve the student experience. Aimee loves coffee, baking,
and spending time with her dog, Lucy.
