The health care industry is one of the largest in
the United States, and both private and government sources forecast
a twenty percent growth in health care administrator positions through
the year 2015.
In response to the challenges, Methodist University
offers an Associate of Science Degree with a Concentration in Health
Care Administration or a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business
Administration with a Concentration in Health Care Administration.
Both programs are designed to prepare men and women to accept change,
to create solutions, and to solve problems that stand in the way
of a healthy way of life for far too many people. This program is
based on the principle that service to others is the essential component
for the efficient, effective, and compassionate delivery of health
care.
Methodist University's programs in Health Care Administration
offer career preparation for men and women who are entering college
immediately following high school or who are transferring from other
colleges, including community and junior colleges. Our evening college
program allows older students the flexibility to complete degree
requirements while continuing to fulfill responsibilities of home,
family, and work. It makes college accessible to those who have
postponed college for one reason or another, who want to change
careers, or who seek opportunities for professional growth and development
as current employees of health care facilities or government agencies
dealing with health care issues, policies, and administration.
