Scholarships for International Students
Methodist University offers Presidential Scholarships to entering international students who meet the criteria in the charts below. Renewal of these scholarships is dependent on the student making satisfactory academic progress and cannot extend beyond the eighth (8th) semester of college level work.
Presidential Scholarships: Residential Freshmen (Fall 2014 - Spring 2015)

Transfer Presidential Scholarships (2014-15)
Students transferring from other accredited institutions who have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.1 or better (on a four point scale) on thirty-one (31) semester hours or more of college level work at the previous institution(s) will be awarded a transfer Scholarship. Renewal of Transfer Scholarships is determined at the end of a two semester period and is contingent on the student making satisfactory academic progress. Students seeking re-admission to Methodist University are ineligible to be considered for this scholarship.
First Year Nordic Opportunity Grant
Methodist University is proud to announce a $10,000 First Year Grant available to citizens of Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Iceland. This one-year, non-renewable, grant will automatically be awarded for accepted students and can be used in addition to the Presidential Scholarship or other Methodist University awards, not to exceed $34,250 of total financial aid.
