Methodist College Archives

The Methodist College Archives collects materials which document the life of the college. Materials are housed in the basement of Davis Memorial Library. Visitors may view the collection by making an appointment. Walk-ins are also welcomed, staff permitting.

The archives collects the following materials:

- Academic Catalogs
- Student Handbooks
- Class Schedules
- Student Publications (newspaper, literary magazine)

- Graduation and baccalaureate programs
- Alumni and Methodist College Parents Association newsletters

- Longleaf Press publications

- News of the Week for Faculty and Staff
- MC Today magazine (and its predecessors)

- Academic and Administrative Committee Minutes
- Departmental Reports

- Inactive personnel files

The archives also maintains a large photograph collection with images representing all aspects of college life.
