Claire Dewitt and City of the Dead by Sara Gran
The title intrigued me, so I picked up Claire Dewitt and City of the Dead. I know what you’re thinking, but it’s not a zombie book. It’s a mystery novel set in New Orleans after Katrina. The main character Claire Dewitt is looking for someone that hasn’t been seen since the storm. This is not your normal detective story. Claire considers herself the world’s greatest PI and follows the handbook of Jacque Silette. Some of the things that she quotes from Silette are crazy.
I enjoyed this book, but it has a slow pace. Even with a love of mystery novels, I have never read another like it, and I’m not quite sure what makes it that unique. Try it, you might like it.

Hi! Quick question that’s completely off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My site looks weird when viewing from my iphone 4. I’m trying to find a theme or plugin that might be able to correct this problem. If you have any recommendations, please share. Many thanks!
