Access the Library's Databases Off-Campus
Obtain the user ID and password:
- Go to the Library’s homepage, www.methodist.edu/library/davis.htm
- Click on Online Library Catalog.
- Click on the Your Account button at the top of the screen.
- Enter your Methodist University ID card number and your last name.
- Your library account record will appear. The top two lines of the screen will display the user ID and password to access the electronic databases. Record this information.
Access databases off-campus:
- Click back to the library home page.
- Click on Electronic Resources.
- Click on the name of the database you wish to use.
- A screen will appear requesting the user ID and password obtained from Your Account.
- Enter the information exactly as it appeared on the Your Account page.
- Do NOT use your ID card number or MC Online information.
