There is a wealth of high-quality information on the Internet. The problem is
that there is just as much, if not more, substandard information. This guide
will help you to find those finance and investment resources on the Internet
that provide some of the most reliable information.
Also keep in mind, the Internet does not just mean websites. Many scholarly
journals and books are now available electronically. Click here

CDA, now under Thomas Financial Securities Data along with Investext and Securities
Data Corporation, is a "provider of securities ownership information, investment
performance analysis, proxy research and related software tools and services
to financial institutions and corporations." Among their products are CDA Investnet,
an insider trading data and analysis database; CDA Wiesenberger, a mutual funds
information database; and CDA Spectrum, a database of institutional securities
ownership information.

CNNfn, one of the first financial Web sites offered by a media entity, is also
one of the best. The focus is on market news, but the site also offers personal

offering rates and information by type of bond.

CRSP contains historical trading data for stocks on the NYSE, AMEX, and NASDAQ.
Data is available daily back to 1962 and monthly back to 1925. There is also
