Admission Criteria
The ideal applicant to The Professional MBA at Methodist University
will meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution, preferably
with a business-related degree
- If the undergraduate degree is not in business, competencies
may be demonstrated by
college credit or passing grades on CLEP exams in management &
organization, marketing, statistics, economics, and financial
& managerial accounting. Contact program coordinator for specific
pre-requisite course requirements.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Three years professional work experience - professional experience
in fields other than business will be considered on an individual
basis
- GMAT or MAT (Miller Analogies Test) score taken no more than
five years prior to application

NOTE: The indicated profile is
a guideline as each completed application will be evaluated on an
individual basis. However, the program is very rigorous, and only
the strongest applicants will be accepted.
Prep Courses for the GMAT
The Princeton Review will conduct
on campus prep courses for the GMAT beginning this fall. Courses
consist of seven classes and have been designed to take the student
up to the test date. MU students ONLY will receive a significant
discount for each of these courses. To receive the discount code
students must contact the MBA Coordinator,

Application
Each prospective student must complete all appropriate parts of
the application package. This package can be obtained by contacting

application forms alone can be obtained by clicking on Application
in the menu bar to the right.
Return the completed Application along with a check for the $100.00
non-refundable application fee in the form of a cashier's check,
money order, corporate check, or personal check (NOTE: an application
with a personal check attached will receive no final action until
the check has had time to clear your bank).
New students are admitted in the fall
and spring semesters. The deadlines are May 19, 2010 for
fall 2010 admission, and October 19, 2010 for spring 2011 admission.
