focus on Health Care Administration
The
Professional MBA program at Methodist University with a focus on
Health Care Administration consists of 39 credit hours, or 13 classes, taken over 16-18 months. Students enroll in five 8-week terms the first year, and two 8-week terms the second year, taking two classes per term. Classes are held in Clark Hall at the Reeves School of Business at Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina, meeting on a Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday two weekends per term over the course of the year. Students will complete additional work for each class online between on-campus weekends.
The Core
Professional MBA at Methodist University students in the Health Care Administration focus take eleven core courses during the program:

- Health Policy Issues
- Managerial Economics
- Marketing Management
- Operations Management/Global Business
- Organization and Leadership in Health Care Organizations
Each course utilizes a combination of lectures, case studies, and other activities with the majority of the activities focused on health care administration.
The Capstone
Each student completes a capstone project during the last two terms of the program which will be individually tailored to the student's goals and career expectations. A project will be completed in the student's area of specialization, often in conjunction with his/her employer.
