The Professional
MBA at Pinehurst® consists of 37 credit hours,
or 13 classes, taken over two years. Students enroll in three 13-week
terms each year, taking two classes per term. Classes are held at
Pinehurst Resort in the Village of Pinehurst, North Carolina, meeting
on a Sunday and Monday three weekends per term. Students will complete
additional work for each class online between residency weekends.

The Core
Professional MBA at Pinehurst students take eight core
courses during the program:
- Advanced Financial Management
- Advanced Managerial Accounting
- Applied Business Statistics
- Information Management and E-Business
- Legal Environment of Golf, Tennis, and Resort Industries
- Managerial Economics
- Marketing Management
- Organization and Leadership
Each course utilizes a combination of lectures, case studies,
and other activities with the majority of the activities
focused in the golf, tennis, and resort industries.

The Emphasis Courses
Students take three emphasis courses during the program:
These courses are more tailored to the individual student's career,
although each course will cover material in all focus industry
areas.
The Capstone Experience
Each student completes a capstone experience during the
last term of the program which will be individually tailored
to the student's goals and career expectations. A project
will be completed in the student's area of specialization,
often in conjunction with his/her employer.
The Executive Speaker Series
Students enroll in the Executive Speaker Series course
in their first term. Speakers will talk with the students
during each residency weekend over the two-year program.
