Cheerleading Teams Earn Bids to Nationals
Monarchs opened the year at camp in Myrtle Beach, SC

MYRTLE BEACH, SC— The Methodist cheerleading team arrived on campus last week for a few days of training before departing for camp in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Both the Coed and All Girl cheerleading teams received bids to the NCA College Nationals in Daytona Beach, Fl. Senior Kathi Mason, junior Tiffanie Wagner, and freshman Stephanie Shores all received All-American honors.

In addition to the bids, the Monarchs' mascot, "King" was named All-American and the Most Collegiate Mascot in competition with a number of Division I programs. The Methodist dance team and the All Girl cheerleading team also received Most Improved awards for their performances.
