March 30, 2007 FAYETTEVILLE, NC— Earlier this month, a tornado ripped through Enterprise, Alabama killing eight students in Enterprise High School including two cheerleaders. The Methodist University cheerleading team came together with help from the University Bookstore to donate items to the students affected by the storm. The Enterprise cheerleaders were extremely grateful for the gifts and excited to sport their new gear. The state has approved funding to rebuild the high school, but many families are still dealing with the aftermath from the tornado. The gifts donated by Methodist University were a needed boost to morale.
