Husein Nasiro-Sigo Wins Greensboro Invitational
Freshman Chase Pattillo slashes two minutes off of his time

GREENSBORO, NC-  Junior Husein Nasiro-Sigo won his second consecutive meet traveling to the Greensboro Invitational on Saturday.  Nasiro-Sigo won the 8K race with a time of 25:43.  The men's team combined to earn 311 points to place 12th amongst the 20 teams competing across the three NCAA divisions.

Freshman Zach Yonk placed 62nd with a time of 29:57, Adam Clouse placed 66th in 30:04, freshman Chase Pattillo placed 107th in 32:55, and freshman Frank Ware placed 123rd in 34:57.  Concord University won the men's event with 57 points. 

In the women's 5K race junior Krystal Patton placed 42nd with a time of 21:44, already surpassing her personal record from 2005.  Junior Tia Imel placed 105th with a time of 24:22.

The teams will travel back to Greensboro on Saturday to compete in the Hagan-Stone Classic with the men's race beginning at 9:30 am and the women racing at 10:15 am.
