Nasiro-Sigo Leads Men to 13th Place Finish at Hagan-Stone
Freshman Zach Yonk beats personal record with time of 29:31

GREENSBORO, NC-  Junior Husein Nasiro-Sigo found competition on Saturday at the Hagan-Stone Classic.  Last week Nasiro-Sigo won the 8K by more than a minute, but today was edged out by New York Institute of Technology runner Evans Kigen by 2 seconds.  Nasiro-Sigo placed second with a time of 24:59.  The men's team combined to earn 308 points to place 13th amongst the 16 teams competing across the three NCAA divisions.

Freshman Zach Yonk placed 75th with a time of 29:31, Adam Clouse placed 92nd in 30:17, freshman Chase Pattillo placed 108th in 32:53, and freshman Spencer Hensley placed 122nd with a time of 35:37.  Virginia Commonwealth University won the men's event with 49 points. 

In the women's 5K race junior Krystal Patton knocked more than 30 seconds off of her time, placing 33rd with a time of 21:11.  Junior Tia Imel placed 79th in 24:07 and Jen Kiner placed 87th in 24:36.

The teams will travel to Durham, NC on Saturday to compete in the NC Central Invitational with the men's race beginning at 10 am and the women racing at 11 am.
