convened

compete
at the
National
Championships
on
Saturday. Junior Husein Nasiro-Sigo
qualified

meet
after
placing
second
last
weekend
at the
South/Southeast
regional
meet.

Methodist
men's
team

second
overall
while
the
women
placed
sixth. Junior Husein Nasiro-Sigo won
the 8K in a time of 26:57.

minute,
but
today
was
edged
out by
New York
Institute
of
Technology
runner
Evans
Kigen by
2
seconds. Nasiro-Sigo
placed
second
with a
time of
24:59. The men's team combined to earn
308 points to place 13th amongst the 16 teams
competing across the three NCAA divisions.

Tim Ryerson takes
over as men's and women's cross country head
coach
Current men's basketball assistant becomes the first full-time assistant
coach in program history
FAYETTEVILLE, NC- Current Methodist men's
basketball assistant coach Tim Ryerson has been named the new
men's and women's cross country head coach,
Athletics Director Bob McEvoy announced
Thursday. Ryerson came to Methodist as the men's
basketball assistant in 2005. He has also served as
Interim Sports Information Director for four months this past
spring.
