Lawrence Named D3Football.com All-Region Selection
Senior Daryl Lawrence chosen to the Second Team

STERLING, VA - D3Football.com announced its All-Region selections on Monday. Methodist senior linebacker, Daryl Lawrence was chosen to the All-South Region Second Team for his efforts this season.

Lawrence, a Jacksonville, North Carolina senior linebacker, led the USA South Athletic Conference with 67 solo tackles and was third in total tackles with 111. On the season, Lawrence tallied a team-high three sacks with five pass breakups, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. Last month, the USA South named Lawrence the Defensive Player of the Year to go along with his First Team All-Conference honors. He ranks third all-time for Methodist career tackles with 296.
