Lehmann Named ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Selection
Junior point guard earned second team honors

FAYETTEVILLE, NC- The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) recently released the annual ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District teams naming Methodist junior A.B. Lehmann to the second team. Carrying a 3.87 GPA while majoring in biology, Lehmann earned his second consecutive All-District award.

A native of Fayetteville, N.C., Lehmann is in his second season with the Monarchs and has started every game at point guard. He averages almost eight points per game in scoring and has dished out 67 assists so far this season. Lehmann also has a 1.48 assist to turnover ratio. Heading into this weekend, the Monarchs are in a tie for first place in the USA South with five games remaining in the regular season.

The team will be on the road for the next three contests, but will return home to face Shenandoah Feb. 22 at 7:30 pm.
