Monarchs Fall to Gardner-Webb in Exhibition
Senior Dragan Radmanovic leads Monarchs with 18 points

BOILING SPRINGS, NC-  The men's basketball team traveled to Gardner-Webb University Wednesday night to take on the Division I opponent in an exhibition game.  Only up by 4 at halftime, Gardner-Webb expanded their lead in the second half to defeat the Monarchs 86-68.

Senior Dragan Radmanovic led the Monarchs with 18 points including two 3-point baskets.  Freshman Darrian Anderson shot 64% from the floor to score 16 points on the night.  The Monarchs were out rebounded 50-34 with Anderson leading the Monarchs with 7 boards. 

Ricky McPhee led the Gardner-Webb Bulldogs with 19 points while Thomas Sanders had 17 points and 13 rebounds.

The Monarchs will open the 2006-2007 regular season November 19th at home against Newport News Apprentice at 2 pm.
