Five Monarch Seniors Named to USA South Team for Senior Challenge
The USA South seniors will take on seniors from the Old Dominion Athletic Conference

FAYETTEVILLE, NC- The Old Dominion Athletic Conference and the USA South Athletic Conference have once again come together to conduct The ODAC/USA South Senior Basketball Challenge. The USA South hosted last year's inaugural event on the campus of Averett University. This year, the ODAC will host the game at Roanoke College's C. Homer Bast Center in Roanoke, Va. on Sunday, March 18.

Methodist women's players Stacy Williams and Antionett Holliday have both been selected to represent the USA South.  Williams averaged 15.7 points per game this season to cap off a career in which she became only the fifth player in program history to surpass 1,000 points.  A native of Beaufort, NC, Williams has led the team in scoring the past two seasons and doubled her scoring from her freshman to senior seasons.  Holliday is originally from Castle Hayne, NC and averaged 8.3 points per game this season and put up 7.5 rebounds per game.

On the men's side, seniors Robert Lee, Dragan Radmanovic, and Brandon Williams will represent the USA South.  A local product of Fayetteville, Lee completed his career averaging 13.3 points per game in conference play this past season after coming back from an ankle injury suffered in the first game of the year.  Radmanovic, from Orlando, FL, averaged 11.3 points per game behind a career-high 32 points against conference rival NC Wesleyan.  Williams is originally from Gainesville, FL saw action in 25 games this season with 10 starts to average 6.4 points per game.

The 2007 ODAC/USA South Senior Basketball Challenge will get underway at 1 p.m. with the women's game followed by the men's game at 3 p.m.  Tickets will be $3 and may be purchased at the game.
