Bova Honored as USA South Athlete of the Week
Methodist student-athlete receive weekly conference honors

FAYETTEVILLE, NC- The USA South has announced the golf athletes of the week. The conference gives an award for Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week for each sport active during the week.

Matt Bova has been named the USA South Men's Golf Athlete of the Week. The junior from Bloomington, Illinois shot a one-over par 145 to win the Callaway Gardens Invitational this past week. Bova led the Monarchs to a first place finish in the two-day tournament which featured three USA South squads. Bova began the tournament with a one-over par 73 before finishing the event with an even-par 72.
