Bova Honored as USA South Athlete of the Week
Matt Bova helped Monarchs to second place finish at Camp LeJeune Intercollegiate

FAYETTEVILLE, NC- The USA South has announced their athletes of the week. The conference gives an award for Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week for each sport active during the week.

Matt Bova has been chosen as the USA South Golfer of the Week.  The sophomore from Bloomington, Illinois competed in the Camp LeJeune Intercollegiate Invitational last week. Bova led the Monarchs by shooting a four-under 210 for the three-day event which was good for a fourth-place tie. Bova opened the tournament with a 67 followed by a 71 and a final round 72.  The team will compete in the Emory Invitational from April 8-9.
