Bovas Honored as USA South Golfers of the Week
Matt and Nick Bova tied at Jack Shadwick to receive weekly honors

FAYETTEVILLE, NC- The USA South has announced their athletes of the week. The conference gives an award for Golfer of the Week and Rookie Golfer of the Week for each week more than half of the conference teams are active.

The Bova brothers from Bloomington, Illinois, Matt a junior and Nick a senior, each shot a four-over par 146 and finished in an eighth-place tie at the Jack Shadwick Invitational in Seneca, South Carolina. They have been named Co-Golfers of the Week. The Bovas led the Monarchs to a second place finish in the two-day tournament. Matt shot a first round 77 then followed with a two-under par 69 in round two. Nick fired a 72 in the opening round then a 74 in the final round.
