Ranked No. 1 in GCAA/Bridgestone Poll
Golf Coaches Association of America released
first poll for Fall 2006
FAYETTEVILLE, NC- The
Methodist College men's golf team has been
ranked first in the Golf Coaches
Association/Bridgestone Division III poll.
The Monarchs received six of eleven first place
votes to earn the top spot.
The top 25 teams
were selected by a panel of Division III coaches
that are members of the association.
Oglethorpe and Guilford followed behind
Methodist. The Monarchs placed second at
the Greensboro Invitational on Tuesday to begin
their fall season.
The Monarchs will
travel to the Tom O'Briant Memorial at the
Greensboro Country Club
in Greensboro, NC.
