Bova Honored as USA South Athlete of the Week
Methodist student-athlete receives weekly conference honors

FAYETTEVILLE, NC- The USA South has announced the golf athletes of the week. The conference gives an award for Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week for each sport active during the week.

Nick Bova has been named the USA South Men's Golf Athlete of the Week. The senior from Bloomington, Illinois shot a five-under par 211 to win the Jekyll Island Invitational this past week. Bova led the Monarchs to a first place finish in the three-day tournament which featured five USA South squads. Bova began the tournament with a one-under par 71, shot a tournament-low four-under par 68 in round two and finished the event with an even-par 72.
