Methodist Wins Fifth Straight
Sophomore Josh Schrader finished in a tie for third

STONE MOUNTAIN, GA– The Monarchs won their fifth straight tournament this spring with a 13 stroke lead over second place Oglethorpe University. Methodist finished at 582 (292-290) while Oglethorpe was second at 595 (300-295) and Huntingdon finished third at 598 (295-303).

Senior Nick Bova won his third straight event, fourth of the season in a playoff with a score of 144 (73-71). Bova finished ahead of Oglethorpe's Taylor Urbanski. Sophomore Josh Schrader finished in a tie for third just one stroke back at 145 (70-75) and junior Tom Cooper shaved ten strokes off his first round score to finish in a tie for seventh at 148 (79-69). Junior Jake Pleczkowski shot 150 (75-75) to tie for 11th and junior Matt Bova tied for 19th at 152 (74-78).

The Monarchs will compete in the USA South Championships Apr. 18-20 in Burlington, N.C. at the Stoney Brook Golf Club with the winner earning an automatic bid to the National Championship Tournament.
