Men's Golf Comes From Behind to Win Emory Invitational
Sophomore Matt Bova cut six strokes to tie for sixth with a 148

STONE MOUNTAIN, GA- The Methodist men's golf team jumped ahead to win the Emory Invitational on Monday with a 588.  The Monarchs finished four strokes ahead second place Guilford College. 

Sophomore Matt Bova (77-71), sophomore Trey Howell (75-73), sophomore Jake Pleczkowski (70-78)  and freshman Josh Speight (75-73) all tied for sixth with a 148.  Senior Nick Bova shot a 151 (77-74) to finish 22nd. 

The Monarchs will compete in the USA South Conference Tournament this weekend in Burlington, NC.
