 Monarch men lead after first round of Emory Invitational Nick Bova's 72 is tied for the lead STONE MOUNTAIN, GA – The Methodist men's golf team is in the lead after the first round of the Emory Invitational at Smoke Rise Golf and C.C. in Stone Mountain, GA. Methodist shot a 300 to lead Huntingdon (301), Oglethorpe (301), Emory (305), CNU (307), Rhodes (307), and Guilford (309). Nick Bova, shot an even par 72 which is tied for the lead with Alex Balloy (Huntingdon) and Matt Howell (Piedmont). Other Methodist scores include Adam Horton 75, Cory Schneider 76, Matt Bova 77, and Brant Dixon 82. The final round concludes on Monday.
