Finishes Second at Greensboro Invitational
Huntingdon College holds off strong second
day push from Monarchs
GREENSBORO, NC- After finishing day one of
the Greensboro Invitational in third place, the
Monarchs made a strong push in day two, but
Huntingdon College held on for the win shooting
a two-day 575 (281-294). The Monarchs shot
576 (287-289) for second place. Senior Nick Bova
led the Monarchs after he shot 142 (71-71) on the par 72
course.
Sophomore Matt Bova tied for seventh (72-71) and
freshman Josh Speight tied for 10th (72-72).
Senior Josh Hart tied for 24th (72-76) and sophomore
James Walden tied for 46th (77-75).
The Monarchs shot
the lowest score on day two, but were still one
stroke behind Huntingdon. Methodist will
complete in the Tom O'Briant Memorial Tournament
October 9-10 in Greensboro, NC.
