Monarchs collect GCAA awards Horton and Bova named PING All-Americans; Schneider a second team selection and a Cleveland All-American Scholar LINCOLN, NE – The Golf Coaches Association of America today announced the 2005-06 student-athlete and coaches awards for Division III Men's Collegiate Golf. Winners were recognized at the GCAA Division III Awards Banquet held in Lincoln, NE. Methodist had two golfers, Adam Horton and Nick Bova, named to the PING All-America First Team. Cory Schneider was a second team selection. Schneider was also named to the Cleveland Golf All-American Scholar team. In addition, Horton, Bova, and Schneider were named PING All-South Region. Rochester Steven Goodridge won both the Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer awards given to the Golfer of the Year and National Tournament Medalist. Chris Moore from Allegheny was named the Phil Mickelson award given to the top rookie. Brett Balak was named National Coach of the Year for leading Nebraska Wesleyan to their first ever national title. Click
