Monarchs Win Jekyll Island Invitational
Senior Nick Bova led the Monarchs with a 214 (69-72-73)

JEKYLL ISLAND, GA- The Methodist men's golf team won their second tournament of the spring placing first at the Jekyll Island Invitational amongst the field of 24 teams.  The Monarchs finished eight strokes ahead of second place Oglethorpe University.

Senior Nick Bova placed second a 214 (69-72-73), while sophomore Jake Pleczkowski tied for fourth with a 217 (71-71-75).  Sophomore Matt Bova shot 223 (75-71-77) and freshman Josh Speight shot 224 (75-72-77).  Sophomore Trey Howell shot 227 (72-77-78).

The team will compete in the Camp LeJeune Intercollegiate March 30 - April 1.

Results
