Monarchs Jump Five Spots to Place Second at Camp LeJeune
Sophomore Matt Bova tied for fourth with 210 (67-71-72)

JACKSONVILLE, NC- The Monarchs were in seventh place going into day three at the Camp LeJeune Intercollegiate, but jumped ahead in the final round to take second, just one stroke behind the winner Oglethorpe University.  Methodist was one of sixteen teams competing on the Gold course.

Sophomore Matt Bova led the team in a tie for fourth overall with a 210 (67-74-75) while freshman Josh Speight finished with a 215 (69-75-71).  Sophomore Jake Pleczkowski was just one stroke behind with a 216 (67-74-75).  Senior Nick Bova shot a 223 (72-77-74) while sophomore Trey Howell returned for round three with a 75.

The team will compete in the Emory Invitational April 8-9.
