Methodist Wins Mid-Pines Invitational in Playoff
Senior Nick Bova leads the Monarchs in a tie for second place

SOUTHERN PINES, NC- The Methodist men's golf team finished with a score of 588 tying Guilford College.  The tournament came down to each team's fifth golfer, where the Monarchs defeated Guilford for the win. 

Methodist senior Nick Bova finished in a tie for second place with a 145 (71-73).  Freshman Josh Schrader tied for fourth place with a score of 145 (75-70).  Trey Howell shot a 149 (74-75) and sophomore Jake Pleczkowski shot a 154 (78, 76).  Sophomore Matt Bova finished with a 155 (83-72). 

The Monarchs will travel to the Callaway Invitational in Pine Mountain, Georgia on March 5-6.
